Jesus Cuevas JR

Jesus Cuevas is a Site Lead at Intrepid Build who has worked in the field since the start of his career. He describes himself as a hard worker whose goal is to be of use to his team. He leads when the job calls for it and works alongside the crew when that is what gets the task done.

His experience spans exterior and interior construction across hands-on and leadership roles. He holds OSHA 30 certification, First Aid and CPR training, Forklift Operator qualification, and HVAC 1 and General Construction coursework from Wake Tech. He plans to keep advancing and learning more roles in the industry.

Jesus has served as asite lead on nine of the eleven projects he has completed at Intrepid. He was recognized for his role upfitting warehouse space for a defense-aligned manufacturer.

He believes the tradesmen are the backbone of the industry and that nothing happens without the workers others overlook. His time at Intrepid has shown him how to succeed in tough situations and how to fail and keep moving. What he wants to see is better organization, stronger structure, and support for the line so that no one is put into a job before they are equipped for it.
